About:
My name is Ashhita Pasari. I am 15 years old and a Grade 10 student at The Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai.
I decided to start this campaign because I believe awareness should lead to action. In a city like Mumbai, where people have access to medical treatment, it is difficult to ignore that many children battling cancer still struggle to access basic needs like food and shelter.
For families who come to Mumbai for treatment, the challenge goes beyond hospitals—it becomes about survival, finding a safe place to stay and access to nutritious food when they need it most.
The Rotary Club of Bombay, along with the HDFC Foundation, provides a safe and clean home for these families in Parel. The Dharamshala Kitchen initiative supports this by providing patients and caregivers with three healthy meals every day.
Just INR 125 can provide meals for a day, and INR 5000 can support 40 patients and caregivers with 120 meals.
I believe making a difference does not always require big actions—it starts with small, consistent efforts. I request you to support this cause and help make a difference in the lives of these children and their families.
