My name is RTN Priyashi Jalan. I am a member of the Rotary Club of Bombay Bayview.
This campaign of mine will help and impact nurses across hospitals in Mumbai. Nurses are critical COVID warriors and invisible heroes. They are actively involved in the care of patients with COVID - both critical care (ICU, etc) and otherwise. Being a nurse they are exposed to life and death on a daily basis.
The current COVID wave has been overwhelming for them and most of them are spending long hours on their feet. They are providing care, first-aid, medicines PLUS words of kindness, a smile, and a lending ear.
There is an URGENT need to give them nutritional supplements kits. This will give them the strength and stamina to continue what they are doing and help save lives. Please support this campaign of mine that recognizes these COVID warriors.
