My name is Virushi and I am in grade 12 student at The Riverside school, Ahmedabad.
I have started this campaign to raise awareness and funds to transform the lives of children & young adults who are differently abled and who come from poorer sections of society. Prabhat is a centre for mentally challenged children that helps them to be able to become independent and makes them feel loved. I have personally worked with Prabhat where I used to play games with the children and had also made a documentary on a child named Salman. I still remember the time where I built empathy for them which was by visiting their homes. My class had visited their houses and had interviewed their parents and asked them about their child. The neighbourhood over there were not friendly towards the Prabhat kids and didn’t understand with their situations. In a situation like this the mothers still didn’t give up and believed in their children despite of what their neighbours would say.
Through this campaign I hope I can raise enough money to help make their lives better by giving the funds to Prabhat.
