My name is Mahek Devra and I am a Grade 12 student at The Riverside school, Ahmedabad.

I have had the opportunity to work with a NGO called Prabhat Education Foundation. This foundation works with differently abled children and young adults to help shape a better future for them. At the most minimum level, help them be accepted in the society so that they can also live a normal life. After working with the children here, I have started a campaign to spread awareness and raise funds to help them live a better life. All they need is love, warmth, therapy & skill training to become independent.

The fact that just INR 12500 can fund their transformation for a year is something that made me want to do this even more. Please fund my campaign as a simple act of kindness on your part can have a profound impact on a child. It will give them education, confidence, and a wonderful life.

As an individual, I am trying to raise INR 25000 to impact 2 children/young adults. If I collect more funds we can transform the lives of more such children and young adults. Once the campaign is completed the NGO will give feedback on the beneficiaries. In cases where the parents are not comfortable with sharing the images of their son/daughter, we will use an AVATAR. I hope you understand the sensitivity in sharing that information.
