My name is Khoi and I am a Grade 11 student at The Riverside School, Ahmedabad.

I have witnessed a lot of demographic struggles within the city of Ahmedabad itself ever since I arrived in India and started my education here. Although my studies here are of unrelated purposes, I can't help but think of any way to help those that are in desperate need in this country

I have started this campaign to raise awareness and funds to transform the lives of children & young adults who are differently abled and who come from poorer sections of society. I understand that they often are ridiculed because they are different and end up not being able to integrate their lives with society. Every one of them has potential yet they lack a launchpad to kickstart their success. All they need is love, warmth, therapy & skill training to become independent.

I want to make a difference in their lives and was happy to discover that the NGO Prabhat does work to help such kids and young adults. The fact that just INR 12500 can fund their transformation for a year is something that made me want to do this even more. Please fund my campaign as a simple act of kindness on your part can have a profound impact on a child. It will give them education, confidence, and a wonderful life up ahead.

As an individual, I am trying to raise INR 25000 to impact 2 children/young adults. If I collect more funds we can transform the lives of even more of such children and young adults. Once the campaign is completed the NGO will give feedback on the beneficiaries. In cases where the parents are not comfortable with sharing the images of their son/daughter, we will use an AVATAR. I hope you understand the sensitivity in sharing that information.
