My name is Swayam and I am a Grade 10 student at The Riverside school, Ahmedabad.

I have started this campaign to raise awareness and funds to help an organisation called “Prabhat”. This organisation helps specially abled (also called differently abled) children and young adults to coup up and be able to live life as a normal person, but the children’s parents are poor and hence they can’t afford to send their children the Prabhat even when they want too. The children here are trained by professional teachers.

I have personally have worked these children for and year and with helping them I have noticed that I personally have grown as I have become more patient and more pro-active. Hence I decided that whenever I have the option of giving back I will be the first one. Then one day I found the opportunity when “Fueladream” came to my school and as a school we decided that with the help of fueladream we will help a child study and learn life lessons for 2 children for one year at just INR 25000, the more I collect the more impact we make in lives of the children. Once the campaign is completed the NGO will give feedback on the beneficiaries. In cases where the parents are not comfortable with sharing the images of their son/daughter, we will use an AVATAR. I hope you understand the sensitivity in sharing that information.
