My name is Ved Ramesh and I am in Grade 9 at Vidyaniketan School, Bangalore.
I have undertaken this campaign with the NGO--AKSHAYA PATRA,which provides mid-day meals for government children.
As Anne Frank rightly said "No one has become poor by giving".
Many children in India go to sleep without having a meal in a day,all of these children are from the lower economic sections of society.Food is a basic necessity and no human being, especially a child should be deprived of this basic need.By donating money you encourage the child to attend school and this will also help the child to concentrate better in class and not be distracted by an empty stomach.I have previously volunteered at NGO schools and have done community services at schools, which have provided food and I personally have seen the difference that food makes as an incentive for these children.
With a donation of JUST INR 1100,you can provide a meal for 232 days for a child. Isn't that a lot for such little money, think about it and please donate generously to the cause.
