My name is Gaurav and I am in Grade 9 at Vidyaniketan School, Bangalore.

I have undertaken this campaign because I think having a full meal a day is something that is a basic need for anyone. I can never imagine not eating 3 or 4 times a day leave alone just one meal. These children who are being supported are studying in Government schools in Bangalore and outskirts of the city. The fact that raising 22000 INR or more can give a mid-day meal for 20 children for a whole year is something that I am very excited about. By donating u might even save a life and will Definitely fuel the generation of tomorrow and the future. The meals that are given to them are piping hot and is made in sanitary conditions and is not touched by bare hands at any point of time as it is automated.

Please support my campaign and let us together bring a smile on a kids face and change into the lives of these fellow students from rural areas. Most of them drop out of school because they don't get to eat anything the whole day and fall sick as most of there parents can't produce enough income to feed on an average of four members of the family four meals a day. Akshaya Patra's mid-day meal program motivates students to go to school, remain healthy and continue with their education with a big smile. this makes me feel very fortunate that I have a roof above my head and food in my belly and I don't think either of us reading this has a right to complain about feeling hungry ever again.
