My name is Dev Pereira. I have always made it a point to follow areas that I am passionate about. However, helping underprivileged children has always been one hurdle I haven’t been able to clear.
After Fuel-a-Dream presented this opportunity at my school, I immediately knew that this was my chance to follow through with my passion. The presentation completely swayed me and it showed me how much I could help in a small time frame. The possibility of helping so many children in such a narrow time frame made me that much more excited to take part.
So, a little bit about me. I have always been very adamant on trying new things and excelling at them. I have been a sports fanatic since I can remember. My undying passion is football. I love playing basketball and tennis as well. My family’s involvement in music has turned me into a music lover. I sing and I play the piano and guitar. I recently started writing poetry. However, I do not read as much as I write and that is something I do regret.
