My name is Sanya Ambwani and I am in Grade X at Vidyaniketan School, Bangalore.
How many times have we heard tales from the glory days from our parents and grandparents about how they walked with tattered shoes through fire and ice, for several kilometres at a stretch and never asked for a new shoe until it was absolutely imperative? This may seem like a tale of the yesteryear but it is a harsh reality that several students still endure in the rural areas, while they walk barefoot to their schools. With this campaign and with just 22,000 INR, we will be able to provide shoes to 100 such students.
