My name is Gursimar Singh and I am in Grade 10-B at the DPS E-city, Bangalore.
I have taken part in this campaign because I think having a full meal a day is a basic necessity. I can never imagine not eating 3 or 4 times a day leave alone just one meal. These children who are being supported are studying in Government schools in Bangalore and outskirts of the city. The fact that raising 22000 INR or more can give a mid-day meal for 20 children for a whole year is something that makes me feel happy and excited
Please support my campaign and let us together bring confidence and change the lives of these fellow students from rural areas. Most of them drop out of school because they don't get to eat anything the whole day and fall sick. Akshaya Patra's mid-day meal program motivates students to go to school, remain healthy and continue with their education with a big smile.
