My name is Khushi and I am in Grade 10th- A studying at DPS E-city, Bangalore.
Food is one of the three basic needs humans need for survival. But many children are deprived of this basic need. The mid-day meal solves this problem to a great extent as children come to school regularly and have nutritious food given by Akshaya Patra. Most of the children drop out of school because they don't get to eat anything the whole day and fall sick. So please support my campaign. It will be of great help. Not to me, but the malnourished children. Together, we can make sure no child goes to bed hungry and continue their education with a smile.
When I got to know that an amount as little as Rs.1100 can feed a child for an ENTIRE YEAR, I was all up for it. Instead of spending money on excess shopping or movies, we can help these children and give them good food.
