Hi, I am Vanshie Singhal in 9th Grade at The Deens Academy, Whitefield, Bengaluru.
Our school recently held an interesting workshop where we met representatives from Fueladream.com, they introduced us to the idea of a crowdfunding program to help amputees walk again.
We live in our houses comfortably with ACs and TVs and take most of the things for granted. To even think there can be someone who actually has to live without a limb is really hard.
According to the Census 2001, there were 21 million physically disabled people in India. This makes up approximately 2.1% of the total Indian population and I am sure the number would have only increased over the years!
The idea, that by raising only INR 1100 we can actually transform one person's life is really fascinating.. We have the power to bring mobility back into peoples life.
This makes me realize that I must do something to help. Please support my campaign and help spread the cause.
We can together bring a smile back on people's face and also enable them to get a job and earn a living
