Hi, I am Niyati from Grade 9 at the Deens Academy, Whitefield, Bengaluru.
I love reading, watching movies, dancing and drawing. I have always wanted to help people around me and helping others is my passion and something very close to my heart. This time our school has given me a chance to do so.

We all are blessed with 2 feet and 2 hands and limbs and we don’t give a second thought about them. But many people are not and not many of them can afford medical procedures and artificial limbs either.

A a few days ago our school held a program where the team from Fueladream.com told us about a crowd funding program and how it would help make the lives of others better by just raising funds and creating awareness.

A contribution of just INR 11,000 can transform lives and help them back on their feet. The prosthetics gotten with these funds will be distributed in a a few villages of Karnataka. It will help the men, women, the young and the elderly who are in need of the prosthetics to walk again. This cost will include the cost of 2 camps, a check-up, fitting of the prosthetic, the prosthetic and post fitment checkups.

We see so many people with disabilities around us and those who are unable to walk and mostly express pity on their state without realizing that they have potential too. This program made me realize how even the smallest of contributions can have an effect on their lives.

Alone we can do so little but together we can do so much.
A little contribution from everyone’s side will help these people get freedom and they will be able to work again to. It will have a ripple effect on their families. We can all do this together and bring change in the lives of these villagers.
