Hi! My name is Taasha Mistry and I am in the 10th grade in the International Board at Anand Niketan School , Ahmedabad

Reflecting upon my life, I’ve come to realise that I’m extremely privileged when compared with others. Just the other day, I was told about how children are being exploited of their rights in the Bhavnagar district. They’re not being allowed to earn an education but they’re forcefully made to work so as to earn an income for their families. The children are considered liabilities and thus are married off at the tender age of 14 or 15. Their living standards are poor and they hardly ever get one square meal a day. Their lives and future are ultimately getting affected in the negative way.
At this point I asked myself, “could I ever live my life like this? “ Leave alone live, I couldn’t even imagine my life under those circumstances.

I go to school myself , and I know how much fun I have and how important it is in moulding my future. Then why should others be deprived of this experience?

I would like to help the children of Bhavnagar. Rs 4000 can change the life of 1 child...transform them into something they never knew they could be. To this end, I’m trying to raise Rs 20,000 in order to fund the education of 5 children at Baal-Sena.
