My name is Rainah Syed. I am 14 years old and in Grade 10 at the Bombay Scottish School, Powai.
This campaign will support children suffering from Cancer.
I have undertaken this campaign because I feel for all those families and patients who have to go through the difficult journey of cancer. This campaign is especially close to my heart as I lost my grandmother to cancer this year. I understand the pain and difficulty they go through . Although there are several people and Organizations which sponsor the treatment of financially stressed patients, there are very few that help out with an issue that is equally important - "THEIR STAY".
Most of them cannot afford proper accommodation and are forced to live on the streets as they try to make ends meet.
It is a very toxic environment for the cancer patients who have been left frail due to the disease and leaves them with little hope of survival.
Let's make a difference so that families with cancer patients are able to live at ease in clean rooms and accommodation. This allows patients to go through their rehabilitation process smoothly and be less stressed and more optimistic about the future as happiness is the most important cure for this disease.
