My name is Dia Daison Arakkal. I am a Grade 9 student of Bombay Scottish School, Powai, Mumbai.

This campaign is being conducted in order to raise adequate funds to provide the financially deprived adoloscent girls of our country with sanitary napkins for a year and a hygeine kit .to A sanitary napkin is one of the basic necessities for a girl and the hygiene kit consists of fundamental requirements of the girl child in order to keep clean and disease free, like undergarments, a towel, and 2 soaps. Many girls in India are deprived of a very basic necessity-an undergarment. This is shocking but true. The cost of both supplying and distributing the sanitary napkins and hygeine kit to these girls is just INR 500.

Not having pads and undergarments should not be a reason for girls to drop out of school. But, unfortunately, it is the biggest reason. Do help me raise a minimum of INR 20000 and we can together help 40 girls for a year and transform their lives. No more will they miss their classes, no more will they hesitate from going to school. Girls throughout the country will fearlessly pursue education. If I raise more I can help change the lives of more girls. Not I but WE can change the lives of more girls.

I understand this problem and I am convinced that we should do something about it. Let's ensure that girls from less privileged backgrounds, get help from us. Please join me in changing the lives of thousands of school going girls. Join me in terminating period from being the end of the sentence.
