Hey ! I’m Ananya Duggal, a student of Mallya Aditi international school. My life is pretty much the same as any other 17 year old. It includes studying, going out out with friends, watching a lot of tv etc etc but something that it doesn’t include is going to the doctor every other week just to be given the gift of life. Thallaesemia is a non curable medical disorder which requires the patient to get a blood transfusion every month. A typical blood transfusion costs about INR 2500. But not everyone is able to afford such treatment. With the help of ‘fuel a dream’ I am now given an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of people suffering from Thalassemia. If I reach my goal of raising INR 20000 I will be able to support 8 transfusions and hopefully bring a smile on someone’s face.I believe that every drop in the ocean counts so no matter how big a donation is it is surely going to contribute in bringing happiness to someone less fortunate.
