Hi, I am M C Krishnadesikan of Class 11 from Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School, Adyar at Chennai.
In our day to day lives, we incur a lot of expenses. Some are necessities and some are for enjoyment... My observation is that our enjoyment expenses are going up day by day. We are oblivious to the fact that at the same time we spend over 1000 rupees for a movie or at a restaurant, there are people somewhere in our country who cannot think of ways to get their next square meal or do not have access to quality medical care. The least we can do for such people is contribute in any which way we can. This is exactly the point of this campaign.
Let me tell you more about this campaign of mine. A few days ago, our school had a program where the team from Fueladream.com told us about a crowdfunding program which is going to help raise funds for elderly people who urgently need to undergo Cataract surgeries.
The fact that a contribution of just Rs 1000 can make a difference in the life of someone, made me realize that I must do something to help. I strongly believe that we can help those who are needy and in the process, transform their lives. Please support my campaign and let us together bring light into the lives of these people.
