I am Sidharth Jain, in Grade 9, division H of Jamnabai Narsee International School.

I want to undergo training of how to crowd fund because of various reasons. Primarily, since i am deeply into robotics since the past 7 years, i have built several community projects. These projects are yet to be patented but have been approved by IIT and ministers of railway. During these projects, i have had to interact with many societies and cultures to understand various problems, in order to find a solution to them. Usually, i make projects for competitions, and once they are over, so are the projects. In order to carry them forward for benefit of society crowdfunding is vital.

Currently, i am participating in a competition known as FTC ( FIRST Tech Challenge). FIRST is an organisation based in America, which has global competitions. My team and I have qualified and won several awards worldwide. In FTC, other than robotics, we need to conduct campaigns and promote FIRST as much as we can. To promote FIRST we need to gain sponsorship and we need to get crowdfunding. The money given by the sponsors will be used by us to win the competition. The money that we raise by donations or crowdfunding will be given to FIRST, so that they can teach robotics and give free education to poor or disabled children.
