Hi, I am Mehek Mehta of Class XI-C at the Bombay Scottish School at Mahim. Let me tell you more about this campaign of mine.
Our school had a program where we met representatives from Fueladream.com who told us about a crowdfunding program which is going to help those with amputations walk again. The first thing that struck me was the idea of crowdfunding. I found it fascinating. It was also difficult for me to imagine how people live their life without a limb, as we all take that for granted. But, the idea of crowdfunding made me that I can make a change.
I've been trying to start crowdfunding to help mentally challenged adults from the age of 18 to 80. I really want to help other NGO's through crowdfunding and I'm hoping I could learn how to go about it through this project.
