My name is Prabhu. My interests include books, music, art, and travel.

Im also very fond of my home city of Chennai. The Chennai Photo Biennale offers me an involvement with art and an opportunity to give something back to the place I live in. Photography is a unique art as ​it marries spontaneity, aesthetics and creativity. Today with the mobile phone as every individual's personal necessity, the camera is always at one's hand. It is this ubiquitous nature of modern technology that has allowed all of us to be a creator of photography, both to express ourselves and to capture images of the world around us.

If the first edition of the Chennai Photo Biennale excited me with its reach, the forthcoming event promises such excitement on a far greater scale. Im delighted that Chennai will be known as the host of a biennale international art event and Im happy to initiate this campaign.

I therefore seek to raise INR 50000 to help the initiative get to its overall goal of raising INR 300L which will contribute immensely to creating a world class event, now and for the foreseeable future.
