Help Me Give a Student the Basics They Deserve ❤️
Hi! I’m Aanya Jawahirani, a 15-year-old Grade 10 student at Centre Point School, Katol Road, Nagpur.
I decided to take up this campaign after learning something that honestly surprised me.
There are many students from low-income families in Nagpur, especially those studying in government schools, who don’t even have some of the most basic things they need for school, like proper footwear or a school bag. Some students also have to sit on the hard floor for hours while studying.
We often take these things for granted because they are a normal part of our everyday school life. But for another student, something as simple as a pair of shoes, a school bag or a comfortable place to sit can make a huge difference.
Sitting on hard floors for long periods can lead to posture-related problems and discomfort, which can affect a student’s ability to concentrate and study. Not having proper footwear can also expose children to foot-related health problems.
And this is where you can help.
