About:
My name is Vaiga Renjith. I am 11 years old and a Grade 6 student at Euro School, Electronic City, Bengaluru.
I love reading, learning new things, creating projects, and dreaming about how I can make a positive difference in the world. Like most children, I go to school every day with a school bag on my shoulders, shoes on my feet, and a comfortable place to sit and learn. Until recently, I thought every student had these basic things too.
Then I learned that many children in government schools across Karnataka do not.
Some students walk to school without proper footwear. Some carry their books in old, torn bags. Others sit on hard floors for hours every day while trying their best to study and build a brighter future. When I imagined myself in their place, my heart felt heavy. I wondered how difficult it must be to focus on lessons when you are uncomfortable, worried, or embarrassed about not having what other children have.
Every child has dreams. Some dream of becoming doctors, teachers, scientists, artists, or leaders. But even the biggest dreams can feel far away when basic needs are missing.
That is why I chose to start this campaign.
For just INR 950, a child can receive a recycled school bag, recycled footwear, and a recycled study mat. What may seem like a small amount to us can mean comfort, confidence, dignity, and hope for a student who needs it.
I may be only 11 years old, but I believe kindness has no age limit. With your support, we can help children attend school with pride, learn with comfort, and believe in themselves a little more every day.
Please join me in giving these students not just a kit, but a reason to smile, dream, and look forward to tomorrow.
Together, we can change a child's school day—and perhaps even their future.......
