Greetings, I am Kena Shah of Class 11 A at the Chirec International School in Hyderabad. I’ve always loved the idea of helping others and giving back to society. Just like any other teenager I love music, hanging out with my friends, reading, travelling and adventure sports. I came across the idea of crowdfunding while browsing the net and found it fascinating. On the 13th June our school setup an orientation where we met representatives from fueladream.com who told us about a crowdfunding program which is going to help those with amputations to walk again. It definitely sounded like something i wanted to do. It was also hard for me to imagine how people live their lives without a limb, as we all take that for granted. The idea of crowdfunding and the platform provided by fueladream.com made me believe that we, together can make a change and transform someone’s life. The fact that a contribution of just Rs. 10,000 could bring mobility and freedom back into the lives of these people is surreal, but we together can make this a reality. This campaign will help men, women, children and the elderly live new, improved lives. Please spread the word on social media so that all those who believe in the cause can chip in and do their part in making the world a better place.
