Hi! My name is Dhanisha Hariharan. I am 13 years old and study in Grade 8 at Aachi Global School.

Every morning, I pack my school bag without giving it much thought. I have notebooks to write in, stationery to learn with, and shoes to wear to school. But for many children in rural India, these simple things are not guaranteed.

Many families struggle to afford basic school essentials such as school bags, notebooks, stationery, and shoes. Some children carry their books in plastic bags, wear worn-out footwear, or go to school without the supplies they need. These challenges can affect their confidence and make learning more difficult.

I believe that no child should miss out on learning because they cannot afford the basics.

That is why I am supporting this Back to School Kit campaign. A school kit is more than just a bag filled with supplies, it is a gift of confidence, hope, and opportunity. It tells a child, “You matter. Your education matters. Your dreams matter.”

I may be only 13 years old, but I believe that age should never stop us from making a difference. With your support, we can help children walk into school with pride, ready to learn and build a brighter future.
