About:
My name is Nasya Sood and I am a 16 year old studying at Jayshree Periwal High School, Jaipur.
I have always believed that true success is not just about achieving personal goals but also about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. When I learned that millions of people in India continue to suffer from cataracts, despite the condition being treatable, I realized how something we often take for granted, our eyesight, can completely change someone's life.
For many elderly people from underprivileged families, cataract surgery remains out of reach because of financial constraints. Losing their vision means losing their independence, confidence, and the ability to live life with dignity. Knowing that a contribution of just INR 3,500 can restore someone's eyesight inspired me to take action.
Through this campaign in partnership with Operation Eyesight, I hope to help provide the gift of sight to those who need it most. Every donation, no matter the size, brings someone one step closer to seeing their loved ones again, returning to work, and experiencing the beauty of the world.
I sincerely invite you to support my campaign. Together, we can do much more than restore vision, we can restore hope, independence, and a brighter future.
Because the gift of sight is truly the gift of life.
