My name is Ishita Kharra. I am 14 years old and a Grade 10 student at Jayshree Periwal High School (JPHS), Jaipur.
I am deeply concerned about the students at government schools who are devoid of even the basic needs of education. Such students have to sit on hard floors to study which leads to posture problems. Their lack of a school bag and footwear further increases their problems. We are fortunate to be able to possess such basic necessities and therefore we should do our utmost to support the students in need. A donation of ₹2850, for example, will transform the lives of 3 government schools students. One such back-to-school kit costs ₹950. It includes a study mat, a school bag and footwear. They are all made of recycled material.
