My name is Samarth Yadav, and I am a 15-year-old Grade 11 student at Jayshree Periwal High School, Jaipur.

When I learned about the number of people in India affected by cataracts, I was surprised to discover that many continue to suffer from preventable blindness simply because they cannot afford treatment. For many elderly individuals from economically disadvantaged families, cataract surgery remains out of reach despite being a simple and effective procedure.

This made me realize how fortunate many of us are to have access to healthcare. Through the efforts of Operation Eyesight, a donation of just ₹3,500 can help provide cataract surgery and restore someone's vision. Knowing that such a small contribution can completely change a person's life inspired me to get involved and support this cause.

Restoring sight does much more than improve vision—it gives people independence, confidence, and a better quality of life. I believe that even small acts of kindness can create a meaningful impact.
