Help Me Bring Basic School Gear to Students in Rajasthan
Greetings everyone, I’m Daksh. I am a Grade 9 student at Jayshree Periwal High School in Jaipur.
Imagine spending six hours every single day sitting on a freezing, hard classroom floor. For thousands of children in Rajasthan’s government schools, this is their daily reality. They walk to school completely barefoot and study without desks, chairs, or proper school bags. Sitting on the floor for such a long time is terrible for a growing child. In fact, 9 out of 10 of these students end up dealing with painful posture and spinal problems. It also strains their eyesight and makes it really hard for them to focus on their lessons. On top of that, walking barefoot puts them at risk for painful foot infections and health issues. We can easily fix this. I am running this campaign to send out Back-to-School kits to these students. Each kit costs just INR 950 and includes:
1. A pair of footwear to protect their feet.
2. A study mat so they don't have to sit directly on the ground.
3. A school bag to carry their books safely.
