My name is Hemansh Agarwal. I am 13 years old and a Grade 8 student at Jayshree Periwal High School, Jaipur.
I have decided to take part in this campaign because it was really disturbing for me to see students from the villages and low income homes without proper gear for school, which is necessary for their study, such as school bags, footwear, etc.
I cannot even imagine going to school without footwear and sitting on concrete floors for straight seven hours. I may not understand their pain, but I surely know that all the students must be facing very severe health issues and other difficulties.
Also, the fact that the back to school kit just cost ₹950, which is really surprising as it provides a school bag, footwear, and study mats, I am also thrilled to know that they all are made by upcycling used materials. Also, that 950 is a very small amount so for approximately ₹3000. We can make a big change in three students’ lives.
If you guys support my campaign, we can transform many students lives, by making a big positive change in their health, their school attendance, and grades . At the end of the day, it’s just about their smile.
