My name is RANNJAY GOYAL. I am 13 years old and a Grade 8 student at JPHS in Jaipur. I have joined this campaign because when Ranganath sir came tor our school and told us about how 92% of students go to school in poor conditions like they don't even have proper shoes and school bags and in school they ahve to sit on the hard floor for maybe 9 or 10 hours which is just shocking and it's worse in winters and summers when the floor is either cool as ice or burning hot. Imagine sitting on Freezing cold floor at 6 am in the morning!
Then sir told us about this campaign that provides school bags and proper footwear to students which are made from recycled materials like old clothes and shoes. He told us that the amount of clothes thrown away by Indians alone is enough to fill up 14 jaipurs worth of land, which is actually crazy.
This campaign takes those clothes and upcyckes them into bags and shoes and study mats for sitting on and distributes tehm to the students free of cost
You can support this campaign for the small cost of 950 rupees. Now before you go like "what 950 rupees that's way too much" just remember how much you spent on your last night out, those new clothes, and all those other unnecessary things.
