My name is Mrinalini Sen, a 14‑year‑old Grade 10 student at DPS Gurgaon, Sector‑45.

I am leading this campaign to support Make‑A‑Wish India in bringing hope, strength, and joy to children fighting life‑threatening illnesses. For these children, a single wish can turn despair into courage and help them look beyond their illness. This is made possible through partnerships with hospitals across NCR.

Each wish costs INR 10,000, yet its value is immeasurable. Since 1995, Make‑A‑Wish India has fulfilled more than 1,00,000 wishes in collaboration with 120+ hospitals and 8 regional chapters. Wishes fall into four categories: “I wish to go” – traveling to places they dream of, “I wish to meet” – meeting their heroes or role models, “I wish to be” – living out a dream role for a day, and “I wish to have” – receiving a cherished gift that brings joy. Every wish, no matter its size, leaves a lasting impact on a child’s healing journey.
