About:
My name is Dhriti Upadhyay and I am currently 15 years old and studying Grade 10 at Delhi Public School, Sector 45, Gurgaon.
Since childhood, I have always felt that any good deed, no matter how small, can have an impact on someone's life. Helping others is not only something I do but it gives me a sense of belongingness towards the people and surroundings around me. Philanthropy and community services are two such causes which I have a lot of passion for and whenever I get a chance to do something in this direction, I feel really fulfilled.
I firmly believe that every child deserves happiness, hope and dreams despite whatever challenges they might be facing. Learning about children suffering from life-threatening diseases has been instrumental in giving me an understanding of how impactful compassion can be. Even a wish that seems trivial to us, can be a source of strength and joy for a child undergoing some of the hardest challenges in his/her life.
And hence, I decided to participate in the Make-A-Wish India campaign, hoping to contribute to it, in whichever little way I could, to make these kids smile and remind them
