About:
My name is Dia Sharma and I am a 14-year-old and a Grade 9 student at DPS Gurgaon, Sector-45, Gurgaon.
I am a strong believer that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. I enjoy learning, taking on new challenges and participating in community outreach programmes.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy participating in activities that encourage creativity, leadership, and teamwork. I like taking initiative, whether it is organizing projects, working with others to achieve a goal. These experiences have helped me become determined to keep learning from every opportunity.
When I learned about Make-A-Wish India and the incredible work they do for children battling life-threatening illnesses, I was deeply inspired. Reading about how even one wish can bring hope, strength and joy to a child and their family made me realise that even as a student, I can help create a meaningful change.
My goal is to not only raise funds but also to raise awareness and encourage others to support this cause. I hope to inspire people in my community to come together and show that every contribution matters, no matter how big or small.
Through this campaign I aspire to bring bright smiles and encouragement to children who need it most.
