My name is Aashvi Singh and I am a 14 -year-old and a Grade 10 student at The Shriram Millennium School (TSMS), Noida.

Throughout my younger years, I always wanted to be able to help anyone in need, no matter who it is, because I believed that everyone should get even the smallest of chances. Guess what. I still have that belief that I should help everyone I can whether it makes a change or not.

Each wish costs INR 10,000, but its impact is priceless. Since 1995, Make-A-Wish India has granted over 1,00,000 wishes in partnership with 120+ hospitals and 8 regional chapters. Wishes generally fall into four categories: “I wish to go” – trips or experiences to places they dream of visiting, “I wish to meet” – meeting their heroes or inspiring personalities, “I wish to be” – living out a special role or dream for a day, and “I wish to have” – receiving a special gift or item that brings joy. Every wish, no matter how big or small, makes a lasting difference in a child’s healing journey.
