My name is Reyansh Arora. I am 12 years old and a Grade 8 student at The Shriram Millennium School (TSMS), Noida.

I started this campaign after learning a surprising and heartbreaking fact: many students from low-income homes in Uttar Pradesh lack basic school gear. When attending government schools, they often don't have proper footwear or a school bag, and they frequently have to sit on the hard ground just to study.

Sitting on the floor for long periods means 9 out of 10 of these students will face posture-related problems. It also negatively impacts their eyesight, concentration, and ability to learn. Furthermore, walking without proper footwear leads to foot-related diseases and other health issues.

We can fix this easily. A complete back-to-school kit costs just INR 950. It provides a student with a pair of recycled footwear, a recycled study mat to sit comfortably at school or home, and a recycled school bag for their books. This is a very small amount to make a massive impact. Funding INR 2850, for example, can completely transform the lives of 3 students!
