Ever since I have come to Hyderabad, I have wondered how the village life feels like. Turns out, it's very harsh. Children sitting on cold, hard, floors, and walking barefoot across rocky hills.

I started this campaign after learning that many students from low-income families in Telangana, especially those attending government schools, do not have basic school supplies that many of us take for granted. Some students go to school without proper footwear or a school bag, and many have to sit on hard floors for hours while studying.

Sitting on the floor every day can cause back and posture problems, make it harder for students to concentrate, and even affect their overall comfort while learning. Not having proper footwear can also lead to foot injuries, infections, and other health issues.

A back-to-school kit costs just INR 950 and provides a student with a pair of recycled footwear, a recycled study mat to sit on comfortably at school or home, and a recycled school bag to carry their books and supplies. Even a small contribution can make a big difference. For example, a donation of INR 2,850 can provide complete kits for three students.
