About:
My name is Navya. I am 12 years old and a Grade 7 student at Phoenix Greens School of Learning, Kokapet, Hyderabad.
I have undertaken this campaign because I realized not every person is as privileged as me. In many villages, kids are not provided with basic school items like school bags, shoes etc. unlike me or my friends in school. I wanted to help these low income families as much as possible from my side.
Sitting on the hard school floor, carrying books without proper school bag, and walking on rocky roads without shoes gives pain to the young kids. It also can cause health issues which result in missing school and not get enough time to study due to their health issues. It can also affect a child's future badly.
That's why these back to school kits made from recycled objects like clothes can help a child. The back-to-school kit costs just INR 950 and gives students a pair of recycled footwear, a recycled study mat to sit comfortably at school or home, and a recycled school bag for books. This is a very small amount to impact a student. Fund INR 2850, for example, and transform the lives of 3 students.
Please support my campaign and let us together impact the health, school attendance, and grades of these fellow students. This kit also brings a big smile to their faces and gives them a lot of confidence.
