About:
My name is Ritanya. I am 11 years old and a Grade 7 student at Whitefield Global School, Bengaluru.
I have undertaken this campaign because I was surprised to learn that many students from low-income homes in Karnataka, who go to school (mainly govt schools), do not have basic school gear like proper footwear or a school bag, and often sit on the hard ground in order to study at school.
Imagine sitting on a hard, cold mud floor for six hours every single day. No chair, no desk, just the ground. By lunchtime, your back aches, your neck hurts, and it is almost impossible to focus on what the teacher is writing on the board. This is the daily reality for thousands of 7th-grade students in Karnataka’s government schools. Because they lack basic gear, 9 out of 10 of these students face painful posture problems and eye strain, making it incredibly hard to study and get good grades. Many also walk to school barefoot, risking injuries and foot infections.
For just INR 950, you can give one student a complete Back-to-School Kit. Every item is eco-friendly and made from recycled materials:A comfortable study mat so they no longer have to sit on the cold floor.A sturdy school bag to safely carry their textbooks and notebooks.A durable pair of footwear to protect their feet on the walk to school.
Please support my campaign and let us together impact the health, school attendance, and grades of these fellow students. This kit also brings a big smile to their faces and gives them a lot of confidence.
Your support will help the suffering children.
