About:
My name is DIVAM GOYAL. I am 13 years old and a Grade 9 student at the Sanskriti School, New Delhi.
I have undertaken this campaign because I was surprised to learn that many students from low-income homes in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, who go to school (mainly govt schools), do not have basic school gear like proper footwear or a school bag, and often sit on the hard ground in order to study at school.
Sitting down on the floor for long periods of time means 9 in 10 students will face posture-related problems. It also has an indirect impact on their eyesight and their ability to concentrate and study. Lack of footwear also leads to foot-related diseases and health issues.
The back-to-school kit costs just INR 950 and gives students a pair of recycled footwear, a recycled study mat to sit comfortably at school or home, and a recycled school bag for books. This is a very small amount to impact a student. Fund INR 4750, for example, and transform the lives of 5 students.
Please support my campaign and let us together impact the health, school attendance, and grades of these fellow students. This kit also brings a big smile to their faces and gives them a lot of confidence.
My name is Divam Goyal, and I am a young individual with big dreams and a strong desire to achieve something meaningful in life. I believe that success comes from hard work, discipline, and the willingness to keep improving every day. I am still learning and growing, but I am determined to build a strong future for myself.
One of my biggest passions is playing football. I enjoy the energy, teamwork, and excitement that the game brings. Football teaches me important life skills such as discipline, focus, and never giving up, even when situations are tough. Whether I am playing with friends or practicing alone, I always try to improve my skills and become better than I was yesterday.
Along with my personal goals, I also have a strong desire to help others. I want to support children who live in poverty, especially those who suffer from foot injuries and do not have basic necessities like school bags or mats. I believe that every child deserves comfort, education, and the chance to live a healthy life. Through my efforts, I want to contribute by providing help, raising awareness, and doing whatever I can to make their lives better.
Apart from sports, I focus on my studies and personal growth. I understand that education is important, and I try to stay consistent and dedicated. My dream is not only to become successful but also to use my success to help others and make a positive difference in the world. I am ready to work hard, face challenges, and keep moving forward toward my goals.
