My name is Vedaansh Vij. I am 14 years old and a Grade 9 student at Sanskriti School, New Delhi.

I started this campaign after learning something that truly surprised me. Many students in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, especially those studying in government schools, do not have basic school essentials. They often lack proper footwear, do not have school bags, and are forced to sit on hard ground every day just to attend classes.

This situation is not just uncomfortable, it is harmful. Sitting on the floor for long hours can lead to posture-related problems for a large number of students. It also affects their eyesight, concentration, and ability to learn effectively. The absence of proper footwear further exposes them to infections and other health issues.

To address this, I am working to provide back-to-school kits that can make a real difference. For just INR 950, one student can receive a pair of recycled footwear, a study mat, and a school bag. These simple essentials can improve comfort, boost confidence, and support better learning.

A contribution of INR 4,750 can support 5 students and help transform their daily school experience. Even a small effort can create meaningful change in someone’s life.

This initiative is about more than just providing supplies. It is about improving health, increasing school attendance, enhancing academic performance, and giving students the confidence they deserve.
