My name is Aarva Mahavir Sanghavi. I am 15 years old and a Grade 10 student at The J.B Petit High School for Girls, Mumbai.
Imagine a childhood not filled with fear but blooming with hope. At Beed, in the state of Maharashtra, the orphans of Balgram Orphanage await the opportunity to re-author their lives. I launched this campaign because "surviving" is not enough for these children - they should have the chance to "thrive". The Reality: To us, the cost of ₹2,500 is a weekend's shopping. For an orphaned child, it's life-changing. With this one gift, they get a month of:
Dignity: A good education and life skills.
Security: Shelter, a roof over our heads.
Vitality: Healthy food and regular medical care.
It can be overwhelming to try and tackle large scale poverty, but the numbers here are straightforward and transformative. One year of good health and education is not just a meal ticket, it's a life ticket. Each rupee we raise will allow us to reach more. I invite you to help me.
