My name is Aadhaya Anantaa. I am 12 years old and a Grade 8 student at Sanskriti School, New Delhi.

After attending a highly interesting workshop on crowdfunding, I discovered that students and young children in states such as Haryana and UP (who live in rural areas) face issues in school due to lack of proper shoes, bags and seats.

Sitting on the floor and studying affects learning retention because there is always a chance of the students feeling uncomfortable because of the hard and cold floor. It also makes it hard for kids sitting at the back to get attention or even read what's written on the blackboard !

The back-to-school kit costs JUST INR 950 and gives students a pair of recycled footwear, a recycled study mat to sit comfortably at school or home, and a recycled school bag for books. This is a very small amount to impact a student. Fund INR 3800, for example, and transform the lives of 4 students in rural areas ! This support will not only make you feel content but also bring smiles to the faces on the youth who are enduring this hardship.
