My name is Amaaya, I am 13 years old, and a Grade 9 student at Modern School, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi.

I have undertaken this campaign because I truly believe that every child deserves the chance to go to school and build a better future. Unfortunately, for many families, education is not a priority—not because they don’t value it, but because they simply cannot afford it. In such situations, children are often expected to work and support their families instead of attending school.

The Samarpan School in Kishangarh, an urban village in New Delhi, is working to change this reality. By providing free education along with meals, books, and uniforms, the school creates an environment where parents are encouraged to send their children to learn. For many of these students, this is their first experience of education, and they are often the first in their families to attend school.

The cost of supporting one child’s education is approximately INR 2500 per month. This includes not only their academic needs but also essentials like food and uniforms. While this amount may seem small to some, it has the power to completely transform a child’s life.
