My name is Niharika Prabhudesai. I am 15 years-old and a Grade 10 student at Bai Avabai Petit School, Mumbai.

I have undertaken this campaign because I strongly believe that every child deserves a safe home, proper care, and access to education. This initiative supports orphaned children living in Beed, at an orphanage called Balgram, where 117 children are currently being cared for.

Many of these children have lost one or both parents, have been abandoned, or have been found without support. Despite their difficult circumstances, they have dreams and aspirations just like us. What they truly need is the opportunity and support to turn those dreams into reality.

What deeply moved me was the realization that just ₹2500 per month can support one child by covering their food, shelter, education, clothing, transportation, and medical care. A contribution that may seem small to us can completely change the course of a child’s life by providing them with stability, dignity, and hope.

Through this campaign, I hope to extend the opportunities we often take for granted—like education, safety, and care—to these children so they can grow into confident and independent individuals.
