About:
My name is SERENA KAUR SAHNI. I am 17-years-old and a Grade 11 student at GEMS World Academy, Dubai.
My determination to pursue this project stems from the fact that in rural areas of India, limited financial resources often force women to place their own health as a subordinate issue. As a result, many women ignore symptoms or delay seeking medical care, which further reinforces the stigma surrounding women’s health.
As the backbone of their households, women’s health directly impacts the stability and opportunities of their families. Without access to affordable healthcare, preventable conditions often go untreated, limiting women’s ability to participate fully in society. Through this initiative, I hope to enable women in areas such as Saphale and Vasai to prioritize their well-being and recognize the importance of women-specific healthcare.
It costs just INR 3500 to impact 3 women.
Support this campaign and let us together impact the lives of rural women.
