For more than a decade I have been in development sector looking after community health. And throughout my career, I have observed the lack of information amongst majority of people. They are unaware of the health risk factors associated to chronic illnesses and have minimal idea about right preventive measures. This makes them vulnerable to unexpected emergency situations where they are burdened with lakhs of money to meet hospital expenditures.
