About:
My name is VIDYA NIRVANA MANCHU ANAND. I am 11 years old and a Grade 6 student at Ecole Mondiale World School, Mumbai.
I undertook this campaign after being deeply surprised to learn that many students from low-income families in Maharashtra—especially those attending government schools—do not have access to basic school essentials. Many children go to school without proper footwear or a school bag, and are often forced to sit on hard floors for hours just to attend their classes.
Sitting on the ground for long periods can seriously affect a child’s health. Studies show that 9 out of 10 students in such conditions are likely to develop posture-related problems. This also indirectly impacts their eyesight, concentration, and overall ability to learn. The lack of proper footwear further exposes them to foot-related diseases and long-term health issues.
To address this, we are providing a Back-to-School Kit that costs just INR 950 per child. Each kit includes a pair of recycled footwear, a recycled study mat so students can sit comfortably at school or at home, and a recycled school bag to safely carry their books. This small contribution can make a life-changing difference for a child.
For example, by funding INR 4,750, you can directly transform the lives of five students—improving not only their comfort, but also their health, confidence, school attendance, and academic performance.
I sincerely request your support for this campaign. Together, we can improve learning conditions, protect children’s health, and bring smiles, confidence, and dignity to young students who deserve a fair chance at education.
Every contribution counts. Let’s make a lasting impact—one child at a time.
