My name is Lohit Gandhi raj, I’m 14 years old and a Grade 9 student at APL Global School, Chennai.
I’ve always been curious about how things work around us , why something is the way it is, and how it can be made better. That curiosity slowly turned into ideas, and those ideas turned into projects that shaped who I am today.

One of my first projects was e-wheeler, something I started because I genuinely believed that cleaner transport shouldn’t just be a futuristic dream , it should be accessible for everyday people. Building the idea, sketching models, thinking about users ,it was exciting and stressful, but it pushed me to think differently. Instead of just imagining change, I learned to design it.

Later, I worked on Poru! AI, which opened my eyes to what technology can do when it has the heart to help people. It wasn’t just coding or planning it was understanding that real change starts when we think about others. Seeing how Poru! AI could support learning and make information easier for people felt special. It showed me that ideas become meaningful only when they improve lives.

Then came a big moment; I pitched e-wheeler at the Puthilir innovation competition by AUCED. I stood there, nervous but determined, presenting my work to judges and defending it in front of IB and IGCSE students who were just as talented. I still remember the rush when they announced I had won first prize and ₹15,000. It wasn’t just an award ;it was a reminder that young voices matter when they speak with purpose.

That same feeling brought me here — to this campaign.

I’m not doing this campaign because I have to — I’m doing it because I want to. Because I’ve learned through my previous experience that ideas only matter when we use them to lift others up. And through Puthilir, I learned I can stand up, speak up, and push for what I believe in.
